  1. Bonjour mon amis, dear fellow divers.

Je ne pas Andre, living DownUnder ( Australia )

Trying to find a diving organisation to help me.

I work alongside another Englishman whose father was a young merchant seaman on D Day, aboard the Empire Broadsword and who was ultimately sunk when the ship hit mines a few weeks later off Omaha beach, Normandy.

That young seaman is now approaching 87 years of age, living nearby to me, and I am hoping to see if I can arrange for a souvenier, from the wreck site, to be sent to me on his behalf, at my cost.

    Not withstanding any regulations etc.

Not looking for anything big as the value lies in the sentiment.

I would appreciate any correspondence on this matter and will reply to all I receive. I will be in the UK in October if anything has arisen out of this.

    My home email is; tugdiverandy@hotmail.com

My father served in the Med. during WW2 aboard a destroyer HMS Hasty, sunk by an E boat off Crete in 1941 or 42.

I would love to hear of any reports of this vessel, if known by divers or officials.

My local dive Club is based 80 klms north of Sydney on what is known as the Central Coast and I have dived these waters for 30 years. The club name is Terrigal Underwater Group and you can find our web site. Not sure what condition it is in.

    Thankyou/Merci

    Andy Higley

  2. I try to find somebody who is able to give you an information.
    Best regards
